What are your hours for transportation?

Normal hours are from 9a-5p (M-F).  We’ll provide non-emergency transportation for medical/dental/counseling/senior center appointments. We can also provide services if appointments are earlier than 9a or later than 5pm including Saturdays.  Give us a 48-hour notice and we’ll get you where you need to be.

Is there a limit to the number of non-emergency medical transportation to medical appointments?

No; and as long membership requirements and the monthly fee of $99 per month are met

Yes; most health insurance plans

Can you provide door to door transportation?

That’s all we provide.  It makes sense and it’s more convenient for our members.  This service is unlimited for their non-emergency transportation needs to and from their medical/dental appointments. We eliminate unnecessary waiting because of our direct route and the door-to-door service.

How would a patient arrange for transportation services?

Members would call UMHCS ahead of time; a minimum of 48 hours is required.  We’ll include regular reminders to our members prior to actual date of appointment.  And when necessary contact the medical office.

Where do you currently operate your transportation service?

We currently provide rides for clients around Carroll County, Howard County, Montgomery County, Frederick County, and Baltimore County – Maryland.
